Aztec Track Cleaning Car
Recently we bought a track-cleaning car from Aztec, found at www.aztec trains.com, phone# 775-883-3327. Choices are few in HOn3, so we feel lucky indeed that this fine product is among those available.
The car consists of a rotating drum, mounted with its axis slightly askew, such the, while it turns, the surface is actually skidding slightly along the track. It is mounted in a Rail Line boxcar, which means it looks quite good going around the layout. Word is that in the near-future, Micro-Trains boxcars will be used instead, as Rail Line rolling stock is no longer manufactured.
A couple of quick questions were easily answered, as the owner answers the phone personally, and only he and his wife are involved in their company.
We give it an eleven on a scale of one to ten!!!
